Notorious P.I.G.
goes on the grill.

Issue.

Following ''The Evil League'' campaign released in December, Greenpeace wants to make the most of the summer - and the start of the barbecue season - to take the floor once again on the subject of excess meat consumption. How can we find a way to reapproach the topic and change habits, when barbecues with friends are seen as almost sacred, eagerly awaited moments among the French?

Idea.

It is through music, and in particular the hip-hop beats that pulsed through the childhoods and teenage years of our target audience, that we sent a reminder that industrial breeding has intensified over the past 25 years. We gave those animals most consumed in France an animoji and the opportunity to speak using the visual and audio codes from the 1990s to capture our target's attention and convey a simple message in a playful and de-dramatizing way to a whole generation.

Eklips.

A great collaboration.

To make this video, we had the pleasure of working with Eklips, a French rapper,
beatboxer and impersonator known for his imitations of French and American rappers,
and in particular for his vocal reproductions of his favorite music using beat boxing.

For Greenpeace, the beatboxer has slipped into the shoes of Notorious B.I.G.,
B-Real from Cypress Hill Group, Snoop Dogg and Billy Lawrence.
We find the sounds of the hip-hop/rap hits of the 90s as well as their construction.
